- Stanley’s commitment to cutting-edge technology allows us to compete favorably in the manufacture of mission critical equipment for the defense industry – successful for over four decades. Not only in the machining area, Stanley is able to support you in difficult assembly processes.
- A supplier of torpedoes no longer capable of supplying an out dated component came to Stanley for assistance. A new clean room was installed to bond a rubber sheath to the nose section of torpedo housing. Then a unique method for freezing the rubber right on a turning center enabled the contour machining of the composite nose section.
- A manufacturer of a cavitational tunnel in the south was behind schedule over a year due to the inability of a casting supplier of stainless steel vanes. Within six weeks Stanley installed a new vertical machining center, set the job up, and began production. Within eight months the manufacturer was back on schedule.
- A manufacturer of ATACM Missile components trusted Stanley machining to provide high quality high volume parts. After more than 750 sets, Stanley Machining's quality rating was 99.2% acceptance rating.
- At a production quantity of over 5,000 M1A1 final drives, machined complete/assembled/tested, Stanley Machining’s quality rating was 99.96% acceptance rate and offered a cost reduction from $12,000 to $5,000.00.
